We’re thrilled to share an update on The Blessings Project, our initiative to build 13 tiny homes and a resource center in Wyandotte County, Kansas, serving seniors, veterans, and neighbors in need.
Where We Are Now:
✅ The land for the project has been generously donated by the Kansas Land Bank.
✅ We have completed initial planning meetings and community engagement efforts.
✅ Partnerships with skilled trades, including HVAC, electrical, and concrete, have already been pledged as in-kind donations.
✅ Our next steps include architectural planning, permits, and site preparation.
We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has helped us get this far. But there is still work to do — and we need your support to make these dreams a reality.
How You Can Help:
💙 Donate: Your financial gifts will help us cover costs like materials, permits, and program operations to support residents once the homes are built.
💙 Volunteer: We will need volunteers to help with everything from landscaping and clean-up days to community programming once the center is open.
💙 Sponsor: Businesses or individuals can sponsor parts of the build, from a tiny home to furniture or community resources.
Every dollar and every volunteer hour makes a difference in providing safe, affordable, and dignified housing to those who have served our country or who face barriers to stable housing.
