Keeping young people safe starts with education, awareness, and open conversations.

At A Hand Up Resources & Community Outreach, we believe young people, families, schools, and communities are stronger when they have the knowledge and practical tools to recognize risks and respond when it matters most.

Our prevention education programs focus on helping young people and their families build awareness around important issues, make safer decisions, and know where to turn for support. These programs include topics such as overdose prevention, mental health awareness, safer decision-making, and emergency response.
